SLRD Emergency Operations Centre

The SLRD Emergency Operations Centre is activated at Level 2. An Evacuation Alert has been rescinded July 19, at 12 p.m. in Electoral Area C for the Signal Hill Wildfire near Pemberton. An Evacuation Order is issued near Poole Creek and Gates Lake for the Place Glacier Outburst Hazard. In Electoral Area B there is an Evacuation Alert for the Pear Lake Wildfire (C40983). We are aware of and monitoring other fires in Electoral Area C closely with BCWS that currently do not pose a threat; Cayoosh Mountain (K70889) and Two Twin Creek (V30941).
