The Pemberton and District Recreation Service is currently constructing Phase 1 of a Children’s Nature Play Park.

This phase will include a grass maze and has been made possible through the generous support of the Pemberton Rotary Club, Rotary District 5040, Innergex and BC Hydro.
The Nature Play Park has been designed to expand the outdoor play opportunities available at the Community Centre. The Nature Play Park carefully integrates elements into the park to support creative play, encourage confident exploration and help children develop a lasting affinity for the natural world.
The official opening of the Grass Maze is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, at 6:00pm, as part of the Pemberton & District Community Centre Family Fun Night from 5:00 – 8:00pm.
The Family Fun Night is a yearly event hosted by the Recreation Service and is a free evening of music and children’s activities. Food is available for sale onsite and it is a great opportunity for families to relax and socialize while children participate in activities and free play!
