Local governments may regulate and prohibit activities through regulatory bylaws. The SLRD has established a number of Planning Regulatory Bylaws as a service in relation to the control of matters such as: noise, nuisances and disturbances; unsightly premises; and the removal and deposit of sand, gravel and other soil.
